Hi, I'm have discovered your program, and I like the idea. I also bought the Android client, primary to create some stuff for friends who are "only users", too.
Is it possible to make the step to connect the client and the server easier, eg. with a scan or a QR code?
I guess within the QR Code, you also can do password handshakes, too (so only this client is allowed to control, and not every client who guessed the IP and Port)

Hey Wolfi,
The QR Code Scan is an interesting idea that I hadn't considered before. I'll take a look into how difficult that would be, and I certainly wouldn't mind adding that to my road map. I'm currently trying to get this to work on Mac OS so it will be some time before I'll be able to implement that.
Thanks!

Hi Carlos,
to be honest, its not my idea - I saw that the OBS version for Streamlabs has this feature to connect.
But: only for Windows as Server (so your macOS server component will make it unique).
I just extended the idea that with the IP Address also a password is transmittes, and the client uses this password only to allow this client with the valid password.
The reason is: if you are within a larger WiFi network, that only an authorized client can connect to the server (to stop guys to take over control or interfere, just because they scanned the IP ranges and port).
But the security thought is just optional, the QR code is just a easy (ok: lazy) way instead of using IP and Port, to exclude a source for mistakes.
Best regards, Wolfi
