Very nice stuff you are doing here !!!
But it looks like you aren't able to do this full time, which is totally understandable! If my assumption is correct, have you ever considered asking for help somewhere ?
I'm sure there's a lot of volunteers out there who would love to help you out. i DO understand that "source code" may be an issue here - "What if someone stole my design, etc." . But that's something that can be worked out via contracts and patents. Ultimately you could go Open Source... That would probably leave every other competitor in your dust trails.
What you are doing is WAY more appealing than what the guys at "GameGlass" are doing. Yes, they will have a lot of features and a nice design - But their funding method for example is horrible. > "Pay more in order to have more panels" and "Subscribe in order to play".
Please don't ever go in THAT direction.
"Pay once - Have it all" is the way to go !!
No, I'm not offering my help cause I'm not a programmer (sorry) - I would just hate to see a project like this die because development can't cope with demand.
You are on to something here !!! Letting people build/design their own panels
Thank you!

Thanks, and I'm glad you're enjoying the app. You're right that this is a solo project of mine. I'm not really planning on going open source, but (depending on how all this goes) I may be getting some help from other devs I know. I don't plan on getting rich off of this app; this is just something that I wanted to be able to use so I decided to make it. I personally hate "subscription" payment models for apps like this. You bought it, so it should be yours to use. I'm never going to take away a feature you've paid for in order to charge you monthly to use. Having said that, I am looking for ways to justify continuing development on this app, as opposed to stopping development and just working on another app to sell. One thing I'm thinking about doing is selling some new features as add-ons. So, for example, if in the future you'd want to have the ability to have multiple tablets with different panels running on each, you'd pay another one-time purchase of that feature, or a "Pro" purchase to be able to receive all current and future features. Kind of like how Frontier is able to continue development of Elite Dangerous with things like "Horizons" None of this is concrete, but something like this would allow me to continue working on improving this app
