I've purchased the app and I'm glad I did. Just had some problems has I entered the keys by hand and missed that it needed the {KEY} format. Everything was Ok after I changed that. Thank you for your work and I hope you keep developing the app. Thanks so much for purchasing the app. Yeah the keys should be in the {KEY} format you described, but normally you wouldn't need to enter the keys manually. You can use the "Record" button and record the key presses in the correct format. Either way, I'm happy that it's working well for you and I definitely intend to continue development and adding features. If you do enjoy the app, please consider leaving a rating on the App Store/Play Store. It'd really help with exposure. Thanks again!

Yeah. I noticed that but as you can write directly on the field I guess it's easy to just put the key there. I'll write the review, sure.

Found out a bug. I labeled a button with [CHAT "OK"] and got an error when the panel loaded. It said "expected {" or something similar. I'm guessing the " character is messing the code.

Thanks so much for the info. This is definitely something I missed and I'll be pushing an update to resolve that bug ASAP. Sorry about that, and thanks again!

Hey Azaghul, thanks so much for trying out Panels. If you have the Elite Dangerous Panel loaded up, and you're seeing that "Waiting for configured program to be in focus" screen, that means that the app is connected successfully. It also means that it's waiting for Elite Dangerous to be the "in focus" program on your computer. If when you open Elite Dangerous, you still don't see the panel on your tablet, this may mean that you have multiple installations of Elite Dangerous. This has happened to a couple of users who have Elite Dangerous installed on their C drive, and also on some other SSD drive. You'll have to point the Elite Dangerous Panel (via the Manage Panels section) to the correct path. Let me know If any of this helps. I can help further if not

Hi there, I started using your app this morning and I’m really pleased with it, I’ve got two questions and one answer. I’ll start with the answer.
Somebody posted earlier asking how to make a button continually press as long as you hold it, registering the down/up action on the touch screen. It can’t do that, but you can make a two button toggle, one button being the {KEYDOWN} binding and another being the {KEYUP} binding. I’m using it for my Elite mining lasers and it’s great.
My questions are: First:I like the elite features app, but want to customize my own if course, and I can’t see how you set up multiple tabs in the panel editor. Is there a way?
Second, can two instances of the PC app be running on different ports so I can run to sets of controls simultaneously?
Thank you so much.

Hello,
I would love to use your application as I see it might improve my Elite Dangerous experience. But sadly the application crashes when I try to connect the tablet. As I am a C# Developer my self I think the relevant information for you should be the windows event log entry:
Application: PanelsDesktop.exe Framework Version: v4.0.30319 Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception. Exception Info: System.ArgumentNullException at System.Number.ParseDouble(System.String, System.Globalization.NumberStyles, System.Globalization.NumberFormatInfo) at System.Double.Parse(System.String) at Panels.Infrastructure.Adapters.SocketCommsEstablisher.CommsEstablisher+<>c.<HasMultiTabletSupport>b__9_0(Panels.Infrastructure.Adapters.DeviceCommunicator.DeviceSession) at System.Linq.Enumerable.All[[System.__Canon, mscorlib, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089]](System.Collections.Generic.IEnumerable`1<System.__Canon>, System.Func`2<System.__Canon,Boolean>) at Panels.Infrastructure.Adapters.SocketCommsEstablisher.CommsEstablisher.HasMultiTabletSupport() at Panels.Infrastructure.Adapters.SocketCommsEstablisher.CommsEstablisher+<>c__DisplayClass8_0+<<EstablishCommunication>b__1>d.MoveNext() at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.AsyncMethodBuilderCore+<>c.<ThrowAsync>b__6_1(System.Object) at System.Threading.QueueUserWorkItemCallback.WaitCallback_Context(System.Object) at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.RunInternal(System.Threading.ExecutionContext, System.Threading.ContextCallback, System.Object, Boolean) at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.Run(System.Threading.ExecutionContext, System.Threading.ContextCallback, System.Object, Boolean) at System.Threading.QueueUserWorkItemCallback.System.Threading.IThreadPoolWorkItem.ExecuteWorkItem() at System.Threading.ThreadPoolWorkQueue.Dispatch() at System.Threading._ThreadPoolWaitCallback.PerformWaitCallback()
To my setup: Nvidia Shield K1 Tablet with the Android App (Android version 7.0) Language & input: English(United Kingdom) connected via WiFi PC (High specs 32gb ram, m2 ssd, 1080, blabla) connected via LAN but reachable by the tablet but more relevant I think are my "weird" settings when it comes to localization. I have language settings for windows on english but localization to country germany. Reason beeing why I think that is relevant is that I use the german notation for numbers (so seperation of numbers is 1,5 instead of the englisch 1.5 for one and a half).
I am aware my setup is not a usual situation.
I would like to know if there is anything I can do to work around that issue or if you have to fix this.
Thanks very much for a response in advance if you need any more details I for sure can provide them.
KR Ronin

Hey! Just downloaded your app the other night. Haven't had much time to play around with it but so far I LOVE it. I'm running the Android version.
Quick question, is there a way to modify an existing panels layout/graphic elements? Specifically the featured Elite Dangerous panel you created. I like the look of it but want to tweak it and personalize, but I can only seem to access keybind management and labeling from the "manage panels" section and there doesn't seem to be a "load" option in the create panel section.
Thanks!

Is there any way to edit the preiinstalled Elite panel? I would rather modify that than starting from scratch.

Thanks! Hey there, Sorry, but unfortunately there's not a way to customize that panel yet. The reason is that that panel is custom made, as opposed to a panel being made by the Panel editor. The Panels app allows developers to create their own panels using HTML/CSS/Javascript. This increases the amount of functionality that a developer can add to their panels, but it also means they can only be edited in code. Sorry about that! - Carlos

Unfortunately the app is not available in the UK according to the Apple App Store.
I'm keen to get this installed and working.
